St Giles Central London
St Giles is a prestigious group of language schools with centers in England, the USA and Canada, where they have been teaching English to students from all around the world for more than 50 years. St Giles London Central has a fantastic location in the very heart of the city, right next to Russell Square garden. Popular attractions such as the British Museum, Madam Tussaud’s and the Houses of Parliament are very close by.
St Giles London Central offers a whole range of courses to suit all needs. These include business English, exam preparation, academic English and family courses. The school also offers a special business course (English for Professionals) for students who would like to achieve a high language level for their professional development and are interested in studying in a more business-like environment with like-minded students. The minimum age for this course is 21 years old and lessons are given in small groups in a separate part of the building exclusively for students taking these courses, with a private lounge to relax in after class.
St Giles London Central is housed in a beautiful 100-year-old building in the elegant Bloomsbury district. The school had modern facilities and a friendly and lively international atmosphere. All the schools’ teachers have a university degree and a DELTA certificate (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
The staff at St Giles London Central offer a program of extra-curricular activities for its students’ free time. These may include museum trips, film nights, arts and craft sessions, meals out, yoga classes and theatre visits. Some activities are offered for free, others at an additional cost.

The language course was well-organized, but I didn’t think the composition of the group of students in my course was very good. There were three French natives in my group whose English was, in my opinion, at a lower level than my own. This meant that the pace of the course was much slower and I didn’t benefit from the program as much as I had thought I would. Otherwise, I was satisfied with the teachers, the teaching methods and course content.

My trip was really great! The school is in a very good location.
The teachers were very dedicated and I was able to progress well thanks to them.
The residence was generally good. Living in Highgate and studying in the centre was really awesome, because I had friends at the residence and other friends at the school, so I got to know lots of people. It was also very nice to live a bit outside the centre.
In terms of London, I really think that its one of the best places to learn English as you have the chance to get to know yourself better through all the different people you meet and you can also learn so much more through the museums! Also the night life is great, you can find all types of nights out. The best thing about this city is that there is always something to do and whether it rains or not you always have fun!
This trip was definitely magical in all respects! I spent two wonderful months there and I'll be returning soon! Thank you for organizing my trip and for your involvement!!! I am very satisfied and I would recommend Yalea to my friends who are thinking about doing a language course abroad!
Good day and thanks for everything!
