ILS English Nottingham - Rachel
I liked Nottingham; it’s a city with a lot of history, especailly about Robin Hood of course! ILS is a good school: professional teachers, good location and good opportunities to meet people from all over the world! During the summer the school organizes excursions to Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool, Manchester etc. The only problem is that it is a bit expensive to go somewhere every weekend.
The host family was great, very friendly and open! I felt very comfortable, almost like at home. It is also a good opportunity to speak English after school! In a residence you might live with people of the same nationality and not really speak English with each other. The only problem was that the accommodation was a bit far away from the city center but this was the only negative point about it.
Kind regards,
Rachel

ILS English Nottingham - Muriel
My stay in England was very good!
I had a good impression of the ILS school, the teachers were prepared and enthusiastic and the people from school were all very nice. I was lucky to have an outstanding teacher for the four-week intensive preparation course for the FCE exam, so I learned a lot. I would do it again ;)
Generally (except before the exam) it was good to go to school only in the mornings (9.15-12.45). I had homework every night and taking classes during the afternoon would have been too much. I would have barely had time to do anything else and I was too tired in the afternoons to get as much out of the classes as I did in the mornings.
Best,
Muriel

ILS English Nottingham - Thomas
The lessons were very good and the teachers were very motivated, helpful and flexible. The city is beautiful and there are trees and parks everywhere. The locals are all very friendly and the infrastructure is really good for such a big city.
Have a nice weekend,
Thomas

ILS English Nottingham - Stina
I had a great, educational time in Nottingham. It was very nice and interesting. Everything worked out just fine. My host family was super nice and helpful. But I found out that the daughter's name was mixed up in the information I got.
The school was also very good and we learned a lot. Everything was good for me and I am very happy with my language course abroad and would love to do another one.
Thanks a lot
Stina
